The Problem

Traditional food tracking apps create a paradox: they're supposed to simplify healthy eating, but their complexity causes most users to abandon them within weeks. Planning 7 meals, searching endless food databases, logging every item, and tracking macros is overwhelming. The individual burden of doing it all alone leads to decision fatigue and app abandonment.

MealShare flips the model. Instead of each person managing everything solo, users cook one larger meal per week and exchange portions with neighbors. Nutrition tracking happens automatically through meal exchanges — no manual food logging required.
